  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 brioche buns, split
  • 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: Tomato slices

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in a mixture of buttermilk, hot sauce, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Combine flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne in a shallow dish.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture and place on a wire rack.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet until hot (350°F).
  5. Fry chicken for 6–8 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Prepare the Caesar dressing by whisking together mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, mustard, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and olive oil until smooth.
  7. Toast brioche buns if desired and assemble by spreading dressing on both halves of the bun followed by lettuce and fried chicken.
