  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together chicken broth and cornstarch until smooth. Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, and optional red pepper flakes; whisk until combined.
  3. Layer seasoned chicken in the bottom of the crockpot. Pour sauce over the chicken to coat thoroughly.
  4. Sprinkle chopped sun-dried tomatoes on top.
  5. Cook on low for approximately 4 hours or on high for about 2 hours until chicken is tender.
  6. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add butter to enrich the sauce.
