  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • â…“ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • ¼ cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Orange food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line an 8 x 8 baking dish with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a large bowl, mix sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Add eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract; stir until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add orange food coloring to achieve desired color.
  4. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish. Dollop cheesecake mixture on top and swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Allow to cool before slicing.
