  • 1/2 cup Almond milk, unsweetened
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 2 Tbsps pure maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp chai spice blend
  • 4 cups organic All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Artisan Bread flour
  • 1 packet Rapid Rise Yeast (2 1/4 tsps)
  • 12 tsps pumpkin spice blend
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 cup WARM water
  • 1/2 cup organic brown sugar + 1 Tbsp
  • 1 1/4 cup Almond milk, at room temp.
  • 1 cup organic pumpkin puree
  • 2 large eggs, room temp.
  • 6 Tbsps unsalted butter, melted + cooled until warm
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup organic brown sugar for the filling
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened at room temp. for the filling
  • 1 Tbsp Dessert Lover Blend for the filling
  • 3 cups organic powdered sugar, sifted for the glaze
  • 4 oz. organic cream cheese, softened at room temp. (or vegan alternative)
  • 3–4 Tbsps cooled Chai tea mixture for the glaze

Instructions

  1. Warm almond milk in a saucepan and steep black tea bags for 5 minutes. Combine with maple syrup and chai spice blend; mix in yeast and let foam for 5 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, artisan bread flour, pumpkin spice blend, and sea salt. Gradually mix into the yeast mixture to form a sticky dough.
  3. Incorporate pumpkin puree and eggs into the dough, then knead in melted butter until smooth.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise for 30 minutes until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out on a floured surface, spread softened butter, sprinkle brown sugar and Dessert Lover Blend, then roll tightly and slice into rolls.
  6. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with cream cheese and cooled chai tea mixture; drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
