  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 small onion (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 6 slices turkey slices
  • 6 slices Provolone cheese or 1 cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, onion, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Spread the meat mixture onto a lined sheet pan into a rectangle about 12 by 7 inches.
  4. Layer fresh spinach over the meat followed by turkey slices and cheese.
  5. Carefully roll the meat mixture into a log using the lining paper for support.
  6. Bake for approximately 25 minutes until cooked through.
