  • 3 bell peppers (red, green, yellow), cut into chunks

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water

Instructions

  1. Season the thinly sliced beef with salt and pepper.
  2. Layer the seasoned beef at the bottom of the slow cooker.

  4. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, minced garlic, and brown sugar until blended.

  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until tender.
  7. To thicken the sauce, mix cornstarch with cold water during the last 30 minutes of cooking; stir into the slow cooker.
