  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (170°C) and prepare an 8×8 inch baking pan lined with aluminum foil.
  2. Melt unsalted butter and dark chocolate in a saucepan over low heat; stir until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat, mix in granulated sugar, then whisk in eggs.
  4. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt; mix until combined.
  5. In another bowl, combine pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, egg, vanilla extract, brown sugar, spices, and cornstarch; stir until smooth.
  6. Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan, followed by the pumpkin mixture on top.
  7. Bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
