  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/8 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/3 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs (finely crushed)
  • 2 Large Egg Whites (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp Cream of Tartar
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough by mixing lukewarm milk and water with instant yeast. Let it foam for 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar, melted butter, salt, and flour; mix until combined and knead until smooth.
  3. For the filling, melt chocolate chips with heavy cream; stir in cocoa powder and other ingredients.
  4. Once dough rises, roll it out, spread the filling, roll tightly into a log, and cut into individual pieces.
  5. Bake rolls at 350°F (175°C) for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Prepare vegan meringue by beating egg whites with sugar until stiff peaks form; top baked rolls with meringue.
  7. Optionally toast meringue briefly in the oven.
