Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • â…“ cup white chocolate chips (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan by lining it with foil and spraying it with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in cocoa powder until combined, then set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil until light and foamy. Add the cooled butter-cocoa mixture along with vanilla extract; stir until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center. Allow cooling completely before slicing.
  6. For decoration, fill a small ziplock bag with melted white chocolate and pipe spider web designs on each brownie.
